You should get a copy of the book "Givens, Allen, Splawn, Roseberry, and Calhoun Families of Northern Missouri"

Please note that I disagree with her on one point is the Splawn ancestry - she believes that Stephen Splawn born 1797/99 in Tenn was a son of John and Sibia/Sebra Splawn. I think he was actually a son of Mayberry Splawn, brother to Isaac.
Isaac Splawn married Elizabeth Wood, who died before 1836, probably in Missouri and had William Splawn b. 30 April 1802 N.C. m. Martha b. 18 April 1807 Tenn.; Sabrina Splawn b. 1805 Tenn m. Jesse Allen b. Tenn.; Jonathan b. 1814 Tenn m. Hannah b. 1819 Ohio; John b. 1819 Tenn m. 18 Dec 1842 Rebecca Glebbins b. 1814 N.C. There may have been other children.
He then married Mary Cline [Ray Co., Mo. Marriage Book 1, p. 59--Isaac Splawn to Mary Cline 26 Dec. 1836], who was found with him in the 1850 census.
