First Generation

1. Samuel MCBRAYER. Born in 1736 in Antrim Township, Lancaster Co., PA
Or Franklin Co., PA. Samuel died in Buncombe Co., NC, on 2 May 1814; he
was 78.

Samuel married Elizabeth ASH. Born abt 1740.

They had the following children:
i.William. Born in 1764 in Williamsburg, Cumberland Co., PA. William
died in Rutherford Co., NC, in 1819; he was 55.
In 1788 when William was 24, he married Elizabeth MARVON, in
Rutherford Co., NC.
2ii.Mary (1768-1811)
iii.James. Born on 11 Feb 1769 in Tyron Co., NC. James died in
Buncombe Co., NC, on 18 Jul 1851; he was 82. Buried in Cane Creek
Cemetery, Fairview, Buncombe Co., NC.
James married Mary (Polly) WHITAKER. Born in 1779 in North Carolina.
3iv.Samuel (1771-1846)
v.David. Born on 15 Feb 1772 in Tyron Co., NC. David died in DeKalb
Co., AL, on 6 Jan 1855; he was 82. Buried in Bethany Cemetery, Attalla,
Etowah Co., AL.
David married Mary YOUNG, in Rutherford Co., NC. Born on 2 Feb 1779
in Rutherford Co., NC.
vi.John B. Born in 1774 in Tyron Co., NC. John B. died in Paulding
Co., GA, in 1863; he was 89.
John B. married Sarah Margaret ASHWORTH. Born on 1 Mar 1780 in
Rutherford Co., NC.
vii.Ichabod. Born in 1780 in Rutherford County, NC. Ichabod died in
Floyd Co., KY, in 1837; he was 57.
viii.Sarah. Born abt 1785 in Rutherford County, NC.
Sarah married Luke WALDROP. Born in 1782.



Second Generation

2. Mary MCBREYER (Samuel MCBRAYER1). Born in 1768 in Tryon Co., NC.
Mary died in Buncombe Co., NC, in 1811; she was 43.

On 20 Jun 1785 when Mary was 17, she married Amos JUSTICE, son of
Thomas Edward SR. JUSTICE (3 May 1730-1803 or 1807) & Mary DYER
(1735-), in N Rutherford Co, NC. listed in the marriage bonds for that
county. Born in 1760 or 1766 in Halifax Co, VA. Was on the census for
Rutherford Co., NC, in 1790. Was on the census for Morgan Twp,
Rutherford Co., NC, in 1800. Was on the census for Buncombe Co., NC, in
1810. Amos died in Davidsonville, Lawrence Co, AR [now Randolph Co.,
AR], in Feb 1829; he was 69.

They had the following children:
i.Elizabeth (1789->1860)
ii.Daniel D. (<1790-)
iii.John D. (1799-1847)***** MY DIRECT LINE;
iv.Amos Jr. (~1805-)

3. Samuel MCBRAYER (Samuel1). Born on 15 Jan 1771 in Tyron Co., NC.
Samuel died in Daviess Co., M, on 7 Aug 1846; he was 75. Buried in
McCrary Cemetery, Daviess Co., MO.

Samuel married Elizabeth Ann ABEL. Born in Jun 1775 in East Tennessee.
Was on the census for Daviess Co., M, living with son, Andrew, in 1850.
Buried in Daviess Co., M.

They had the following children:
i.Solomon S. (1812-1893)
ii.Carlton (1814-1890)
iii.John Abel (1816-1901)
iv.Andrew Jackson (1827-1859)
v.Elizabeth J. (1829-)
vi.Samuel (-1893)
