I bought an old postcard of a church at Berger, thinking to surprise my
mother. Turns out she was born at Little Berger and they had a different
church. Does anyone have any pictures of that church, or other images of
Little Berger?

Also, she pronounces it with the soft "g", instead of the gutteral German
(like "merger", instead of "burger"). I wonder why? Was Little Berger in
Franklin county also, or in Gasconade?
