An article in the Hermann paper said that the Publishers will not be able to
make the Christmas deadline, BUT they are hoping the book will be availabe
in Februrary 2004 "in all likelihood".

If you were planning on giving the book as a Christmas present this year,
you can get gift certificates for it from the Historical Socieity.

It's mean a long wait but I hope it's as good as promised. When I took my
info down there in July 2002, they said they were getting a very large
amounts of submissions and this should be a large, detailed book about
Gasconade County families. I'm looking forward to it.
