In Marriage Index for Gentry Co. MO it shows:
Chas. C. Staten married Effie Culp 11/9/1885 (filed)
and then
Chas. C. Staten married Aggie Shawver 3/15/1894 (filed)
(Aggie is Dau. of James Gillespie)
I believe the difference in spelling is an error of transcription.
Elsewhere I see reference to Agnes Gillespie married Charles Staton of De Kalb, MO.
