It's so sad to read these stories. Breaks your heart to think of the pain
and suffering caused during the Civil War and the years after. So many families
broken. That's the way I feel about my Great Great Grandfather. I e-mailed
St. Louis Library, they have a headstone collection on microfilm. They said
they would look up one name for me, so I'm gonna try there. He is probably in
an unmarked grave, like you said. But, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Thanks again for the help. I've seen your name on the message boards a few
times.
