Hello listers and any desc relatives of the ROOKS of Grundy Co. Mo
If you are a descen of any of the below or other ROOKS desc.

I wonder if someone could tell me some things.
I am looking for a newspaper that would maybe have had note of a death in
abt 1855 to and in 1859 of Grundy Co. Mo.
Lived in Marion TWP (?) in abt 1850 census.

William ( Billie) Rooks family. of 6 ch and wife Mahala. Smithson, ch
Louisa, Isaac, Harrison, Smith, Allen, and Millie Maxine b 1838 to 1846.
Millie said he mother died when she was 9 yrs old ( she b 1846 Oct.).
Several other things she also said proved not to be, so I have taken that
with a grain of salt also.
Mahala Smithson was dau of Wm and Millie Mildred Murrell Smithson and b
1814 in Clinton Co Ohio. Alsdo the mother of Louisa Rooks who mar 22 feb
1862 in Clinton Co Oh to Joseph ( Joel) Boring and is on the 1880 Green Twp
Clinton Co Ohio census with her children and Joel.
Mahala may have died abt 1855 to 1860. I have searched the cem list's and
put many messages etc and not found anything. Last resort is if there was a
newspaper close, maybe Trenton or a close neighboring county that may have
had a mention. Even the Grundy Co list mngr has checked except newspaper.
I can't even find a name of a paper being published in the time period to
maybe finding a place that may have a film of surviving
paper.
Where can I find out about any papers that may have had a mention of deaths
in Grundy Co between 1850 and 1860 if survived to be filmed>???

I was hoping that I could run into a descd of one of the children but not as
of yet, and maybe they would have something or even some other descend .
Can't find the 4 male siblings of Millie Maxine , my grt gramother.
