Subject: Need an 1882 Guardianship Record from Henry County

Can anyone on this list tell me where to send for a guardianship record from Henry County- date 1882? I am seeking information on an orphan child named Zella Wood that was placed in the home of a Jennings family in Henry County, Missouri about 1882. I believe she was one of the orphaned children of LeRoy & Ellen Wood that died of the flu about 1882. I have located 3 of their 5 children who were divided up about 1882 when they died. I suspect Zella is one of their children as her name and age would be correct to have been their child. I am still seeking the 5th child, Edna May Wood that would have been placed with a family in Missouri or perhaps elsewhere.

I can't seem to locate an address for the county courthouse, or other location to request the guardianship record for Zella Wood. Perhaps someone on this list can direct me?

Also; does anyone on this list have an ancestor from Henry County that traveled on the orphan train to Missouri?
