Why did my ggrandfather William Allen MILES move from Independence Co.
Arkansas to Henry Co. Missouri between 1870 and 1880, and how did he
meet his wife Mariah Elizabeth HANCOCK?

She was born in Putnam Co. TN but her family had moved to Missouri
between 1856 and 1859.

And another question I would like answered at the Thanksgiving table about
William Allen MILES and Mariah HANCOCK: if she was living in Missouri at
19 before marrying "Billy" (married 1876), why were their first three daughters
born in Texas?
