James B. Chalmers m. Margaret Evans 14 Feb.1833 Cooper Co., MO.
Who are Margarets Parents?? Margaret per census was b. ca. 1804 Maryland.
In a leter by James B. to his brother Horatio (27 Mar. 1833) he mentions their brother-in-law Dr. Thomas Evans husband of sister Dorothy Ann, brought Margaret Evans with along with a Margaret, Edwin & Plato (is this Margaret the one James married or another??)
James & Margaret"s son Emanuel K. Chalmers has a bio. on Henry Co.'s web pages.
