Alexander DENNY b 1747 probably Mecklenbery NC, d. 1827 Howard Co, MO,
m.#1 Mary ALLISON ca.1771 NC, had 7 children; m.#2 Mrs. Ann (Clinton)
Adams 1785 Lincoln or Garrard Co, KY. She a widow with 6 children.
Moved to Garrard Co, KY abt1780 and to Howard Co, MO abt 1818.
Alexander and Ann had at least 5 children, who all came with their
parents to Howard Co, MO: Anne b.1786 Garrard Co, KY; Charles b.1787
Garrard Co, KY; James M(ilton?) b. 1790 Garrard Co, KY; David Rice b.
1792 Garrard Co, KY; Clinton b. abt.1795 Garrard Co, KY.
Alexander is on 2 placks, one on Paint Lick Creek, Garrard Co, KY (the
creek that divides Garrard and Madison Cos, KY) and one on the Howard
Co MO Courthouse lawn, naming him a Revolutionary War soldier.
Alexander is my ggg grandfather, James M. is my gg grandfather. I have
other information on the Denny family and would appreciate contact with
