At first blush this is the right Chism. I suppose you have no idea where
she could have married. I guess possibly because Mahala and John C
Williams' father was a preacher who did marrying, he MAY have married them
in Howard Co and not gone to court about it. Do you think? It doesn't
sound very good because there are the court records for his other children
and their marriages. Any ideas out there???
I really appreciate this. I will share with the direct descendant of Sarah
Chism; she will have some ideas also. And if possible, I am sure she would
like more info on the antecedents of John Chism and Priscilla Howard.
