5 May 1911--THE NEWS FROM BONNEFEMME--T. P. HARRIS has a new tenant
house in course of construction.
G. W. RENNOLDS and family visited his sister, MRS. CHARLES LONG, near
Harrisburg Saturday.
MRS. JOSIE HITT has been employed to teach the Baldbridge school. MR.
PHILIPS of Boonsboro will teach the Possum College school.
MRS. BETTIE GEORGE--of Ft. Worth Texas, is the guest of her parents, JACOB
WILLIAMS and wife.
PROF. A. E. LYLE went to Kansas City last week and entered a school of
elocution, instead of going to California as he intended.
J. W. NEWMAN and family visited his parents, JOHN NEWMAN and wife,
Saturday and Sunday.
E. C. ANCELL lost a stack of hay by fire the past week. The hay was on the
farm
of J. C. WILLIAMS, who was absent from home. The fire is supposed to have
been of
incendiary origin.
On account of the heavy rain and swollen streams, there was a small
attendance at
Mt. Pleasant Sunday school. The blues are in the lead at present.
