First, I would like to express my thanks to both Kathy Bowlin and
Carolyn Gibbons for their many postings of interesting as well as
helpful information.

Thanks to Carolyn, who provided me, last summer, with information that
gave the date of the marriage of Foster BURNAM and Elizabeth TODD on
December 17, 1822. Previously I had only known that Foster Burnam had
first married "a Miss TODD who bore him one son, who died in 1849, while
crossing the plains" (information taken from the History of Howard and
Cooper Counties). I know that TODD is a name often found in Howard
County and I have searched through the book by Karen Boggs and Louise
Coutts, Howare County Cemetery Records, but can not find a burial
record. Does anyone know what happened to Elizabeth?
