If I am repeating an inquiry that has previously been asked, I
apologize.

Can anyone set me straight on Kathy's postings from the Higbee News
regarding these two? Were there 2 Gertrude Andrews, or did the same one
marry, take back her maiden name, and then marry again? The father is
listed differently in each

There are so many Andrews that I find myself going in a circle trying to
get them all in the proper place.

10 June 1904--The many friends of Mr. Dan Cubbage and Miss Gertrude
Andrews will be surprised to learn of their marriage which occurred at
Fayette, Wednesday evening, June 8, 1904, Rev. L.M. White of that city,
officiating. The bride is the bright and pretty daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
J.F. Andrews, of Howard county, and the groom is one of Higbee's nicest
young men. The NEWS joins other friends in wishing this worthy young
couple a happy married life. Mr. Wisdom Burton and Miss Annette Andrews
accompanied the bride and groom to Fayette.

16 Mar 1906--Married, Tuesday, Feb 6 at 10 a.m. in East St. Louis, Mr.
Merrell Horn and Miss Gertrude Andrews, Rev. J.F. Harmon officiating.
The groom is the ever courteous and accommodating assistant postmaster
of Centralia and is well worthy the bride of his choice.
The bride is a pretty and accomplished young lady and is the eldest
daughter of John T. Andrews of Higbee Mo. and will prove a helpmate to
her husband--Centralia Guard.
