I checked for a "Forest Home" in my copy of the 1876 Howard Co atlas
but failed to spot it.
I assume it is the name of the farm itself. Have you tried locating
the property on
the "original Purchasers" "atlas" of Howard and then looking to see
whether there
is a Post Office called Forest Home nearby?
