Joseph Andrew ASBURY was the s/o Thomas Jackson and Susan Tamantha
(Batten) ASBURY. B. Apr 2, 1894, in Harrisburg, MO/ D. Jul 7, 1975, in
Harrisburg, MO. Buried in Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery, Howard
Co., MO.

Clara "Toodles" WALKER was the d/o Hiram B. and Nora J. (?) WALKER. B.
Dec 3, 1893, in Missouri/D. Jun, 1981, in Missouri. Buried in Mt.
Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery, Howard Co., MO

Uncle Joe married Willie Walker in Howard Co., MO 1913. Their only
child, Eunice "Midge" was born in 1916. Willie died of Tuberculosis in
1925, and is buried in Perche Baptist Church Cemetery outside of Clark,
MO. Two years later, he married Willie's sister, Clara.

Clara had one son from a previous "relationship" Glenwood C. WALKER.
Together, Joe and Clara had 3 children.......female living, female
living, Hiram Thomas Asbury B. Feb. 20, 1932/D. Mar 28, 1986. Buried in
Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery, Howard Co., MO.

Eunice "Midge" ASBURY married J.B. WILHITE. They had one daughter,
Anna B., B. July 1933/D. Oct 1933. Midge died in 1944. Midge and infant
daughter, Anna B. are buried in Perche Baptist Church Cemetery along
with her mother, Willie (Walker)
Asbury.

Thursday, 25 August 1927, Vol 41. No. 16. Page 1, Col. 1--MARRIED IN MOBERLY--Clara Walker, of Higbee, and Joe Asbury, of Harrisburg, were married in Moberly Friday afternoon by Mrs. Hattie Marshall, justice of the peace, who performed the ceremony in her office.
