Hello List Members!
After several years of wishing, I am finially able to take the fact finding trip to Missouri that I have dreamed of. I'm headed out in the morning. Wish me luck as I search for my McCausland/Hawkinson/Green/Alverson ancestors. I'm headed to Roanoke, Fayette, Armstrong, Higbee, Centralia, the library in Columbia and any points elsewhere that will help me. To the many people who have guided me online the past 5 years, I am very grateful. I can't name you all but the McCunes, Kathy Bowlin, Laura Crane, Dorothy Estes, Joleen Green, James Bagby, Samuel Brown, Beth Wilson, and Bob Doerr have been very kind to me throughout my search. Hopefully I'll come back, Lord willing, Saturday with lots of pictures and information that I could only get "up close and personal"! And thanks to my dear husband for giving me the okay to take this little adventure. Look out Missourit, here I come!!
