The following is about Laura Ann Jackson. She was born 4 January 1865 in
Illinois, Laura Ann Green, daughter of William Alfred Green and Presche
Melvina Wilson. Her paternal grandparents were Jesse Green and Mahatabel
Fairchild. Laura Ann Green White Lewis Lewis Jackson died on 5 March 1945.
Laura Ann was first married to Evans "Dine" White on 15 Dec 1881. She was
married to 2 men whose last names were Lewis, but not known to be related
to eachother. On 15 December 1927, she married Huey Craton Jackson, of
Minimum, MO. He was the widower of Mancy Clementine McKinney White, who
had been the Sister-in-Law of Laura Ann White, having first been married
to the brother, William White, of Laura Ann's first husband, Evans "Dine"
White. Huey Craton Jackson was a native of Rocky Point, Monterey, Putnam
Co, Tennessee.
Her will in Iron County, Missouri is as follows:
Will
I, Laura Ann Jackson, of the County of Iron, State of Missouri, being of
sound mind and disposing memory, do make, publish and declare this my Last
Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
1. I direct that all my just debts, my funeral expenses and the expense
of my last illness be first paid, and, if possible out of my personal estate.
2. To my grandchildren, Pearl White Henry, Mabel White Sago, Paul White,
and Helen White, I give and bequeath the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) each.
(The above mentioned Helen White, my granddaughter, is married but I do
not know the name of the man she married, therefore I have given her name
in this will as Helen White.){Helen had married Wm. Santhuff}.
3. All the balance of my Real Estate and Personal Property or of whatsoever
nature, I give and bequeath to my son J.E.(Edd) White, and my son W.A.(Willie)
White, and to my daughters Prescha Wilson, Mary Propst, and Jane McCollum,
each share alike in one fifth interest, to have and to hold to them and
their heirs forever.
I hereby apoint J.E. White, as executor of this my Last Will and Testament.
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 21st day of May, 1937.

Signed, published and declared by the above named Laura Ann Jackson, to
be her last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who at her request
and in her presence, and in the presence of eachother, have hereunto subscribed
our names as witnesses thereto.
