Have you checked the phone directories for that time period? You might
locate something there....
If you are out of area, write to the library in Independence, genealogy
section enclosing a self addressed stamped envelope and a money order to
cover any photo copying... They will probably be willing to help you, but it
might take a while.

I wonder if any of you kind folks would be able to come up with some
suggestions for me.
I am trying to find some information on the life of Catherine GLENN (Glynn)
of Independence, Missouri. She was born circa 1900 and was still single at
the time of her father's death in 1926.
A check of city directories for Independence revealed a Catherine H Glenn as
Assistant Secretary for Community Savings and Loan and her residence in 1930
and 1932 is listed as "Indep and Raytown Road nr E 24th PO Indep MO".
It is not known if she married or when she died. A check in the SSDI
(Social Security Death Index) was inconclusive.
Anybody got any ideas about where else I could try for information?
