Newby here, Lee T. Miller, great grandson of John Harrison Kelly and Kitty Bates, great great grandson of subject John and Polly and grandson of Ruberta Kelly Reynolds. My great uncle was George Buchanan Kelly "BUCK" of Moberly MO and editor of the Moberly Monitor c1868, married Lillian Jennings Sidenstriker of Saline.
John H> and Kitty had a farm in Leeds, MO,many children, all girls except one John Harrison Kelly. They migrated to southern California.

Found a Pam Witzel for my Kelly's with a gedcom on ?/Dorman families with an email addy of Yahoo.com which is no longer valid. Help on finding her?

I know little of John and Polly or of history of the clan. I have Polly's ancestry , HARRISON, DAVIS AND WICKWIRE. Nothing on John's family. Understand in Indep he was an outfitter for Santa Fe and Oregon trail, had a saloon (not Kelly's in Westport). All buried in Woodlawn, St Mary's in Indep.MO except George B.
