On the 1860 census Lafayette Co. MO Joshua (indexed as Thightower) Hightower 30 KY, Valdeia 29 OH, Oliver 8 MO, Ada 5 MO, Authur 2 MO
On the 1880 census Valde widowed, is living with John & Sarah Hightower in Fort Osage.
Valde is listed as sister-in-law. Under her listed as niece & nephews are Ada 14, Arthur 12 and Isaac 8.
