WIFE WILL FIGHT DIVORCE.

If August T. MOREAUX expected, when he filed his suit for
divorce, that he would have no opposition, he as mistaken.
Mrs.. Clara M. MOREAUX, his wife, will have something to
say about it.

"He is trying to get a divorce simply because he is tired of
me and he will swear to anything to get it," she said yesterday.
"He knows I haven't the money to fight him, but I'm trying to
get a lawyer to take my case and I intend to seek a divorce
myself. He is my fourth husband, but he knew that when we
were married and he knows I have always been a good woman."

"I married MOREAUX ten years ago and I have stood by him
ever since," she said. "That is, until he was finally sent to the
penitentiary."

MOREAUX was pardoned from the penitentiary last Friday
where he was serving a 3-year sentence for embezzlement.
