Since posting the last query I have learned that Eudora "Dora" Shirrel was married to Ed Nelson and that the murder could have happened between the late 1880's and 1910.
A letter from her nephew to a Historical Society in Indiana stated that it happened in the late 1880's or 1890's but other researchers say 1910.
Can anyone find this article for me? Or tell me where or how I can find it?
