David;
We are probably cousins. I believe that Wm. D. George was a brother of Anna
L. George, that married a Mustain. They were from up in the Hickory and
Dallas Co. area of MO.
Now, Anna was born in Pittsylvania Co., VA; before meeting and marrying
Mustain in Marshall Co., TN. Several of the Mustains and Georges then ended
up in the aforementioned counties. Later the folks went down to the Benton
Co., AR and McDonald Co., MO area. THey crossed back and forth there.
I will do some more checking and let you know what I find. The George folks
are difficult; but there are several folks out there that can help.
I am wondering if your Wm. was indeed born in MO; or could have been born in
TN or VA? He is younger than Anna, so it is certainly possible he was born
in MO.
There is a stretch from up in Hickory, Dallas, Polk and Greene county where
these folks lived. They seemed to move about a lot and appear in several of
the censuses for the area.

Both the Ozarks and the Piedmont area are ripe with my kinfolk!
