I'm kind of new to this Robertson research. Been looking at a wacky story in my husband's mother's family about his grandfather being related as an uncle to a famous Robertson & since we had so little information on his grandfather, we decided to get into the side research effort and look up the famous guy's lineage to see what we find.
We got back a copy of the Social Security Application on Jim's grandfather, and it said Thomas Robertson and Eliza Jenkins were his parents. Grandfather was born in Arkansas in 1890, according to this, but according to his widow he was born in Texas in 1889. It's a can of worms.
Somehow I don't think our Thomas is the same one you're looking for, unless they're related & your Thomas had a son named Thomas. If anything turns up on the name Starr in my research, I'll try to get a message to you.
