There is a WILLIAM BLACK who died 30 May 1916 in Joplin, Jasper County, MO. I was wondering if someone who might have access to any obituary that was run in the newspaper of the day would be so kind as to post it and advise me.
He married Parthena Jane "Thenia" Smith and they had two daughters:Neva Jean Black who married William Cooper. Neva jean was born in MO,probably in Jasper County in Joplin or Carthage and died in CA 10 Sep 1992.
The second daughter was Virginia Pearl Black who was born in Jasper County, MO too in 4 Sep 1913 and she married a James Beard.
James Beard and Virginia Pearl Black had TWO children in Joplin, MO before they went to CA. I sure would like to know the names of both children.
