I am trying to find some information on the Golden Gloves careers of twin brothers from Baxter Springs, Kansas whose boxing and athletic talents were well known in the Tri-State area @ 1929-1934. Their names were Herbert Charles Bird and Hubert Clarence Bird. Herbert won both the Tri-State amayeur lightweight championship at Columbus, Kansas and the Southwest Missouri lightweight championship in Joplin, Missouri in 1932.
