I would suggest that IF you know when/where she passed away, you contact the
funeral homes in the town/city. They can be found at www.funeralnet.com.
Just pick the State, and then the town/city. Contact the funeral homes
there, asking if they handled the arrangements, and when you find the one
that did, ask them to please send you a copy of the Record of Funeral.

A friend who is a former funeral director told me about checking with the
funeral homes. Most obits are done with the information that the funeral
homes get. Sometimes, there is quite a bit of genealogical information
contained in the funeral records. I've been getting the funeral records
since 1994, and it's really helped!
