List Administrator,

Do you have any idea how this could happen? This email would also be going to Karen and not the list. I had to change the address.

Is this happening to anyone else on the mailing list?

Karen,

I don't understand how it happened either, because after I answered on list, I returned to the archives and rechecked for it. I hadn't managed to find it before I answered.

There it was... yet the message I received was from you and obviously was returned to you.

Had I found it there the 1st time, I still wouldn't have known what happened. I would have still wondered why it was sent to me personally. Hey, I'm still wondering, now even more!

I have become annoyed over a period of time at earthlink and aol users. They will post queries on boards asking for information, and give their email addresses to receive the info. This also happens when they are on mailing lists and send queries to websites, where the query is fwd to me for answering. I do the research, most of the stuff, I don't already have, and when I send it I am asked to apply for admittance onto their mailing list.

They do NOT receive the information they have asked for.

I've received queries off the lists before, I've always assumed the person sent them to me. Nothing different was said when I answered them.

Everyone have a nice day.

Orlena, This was my honest mistake...I thought I had put the question to
the Jasper County list. I have double checked my "sent email" folder and it
does show that my query was mailed to the addresss.. I
don't know why it appeared in your personal email and for that, I do
apoligize. It is never my intention to cause anyone a problem.

Thank you for the Missouri State Archives information.
Karen

also answer from various MESSAGE BOARDS. I am usually always willing to
help others. As long as I can recognize it's not spam, I have tried to help
senders of personal emails. I continually delete spam! It's a real
nuisance. I'd like to get rid of it myself, but not this way.

message can be read. I will NOT apply for admission. Apology is not
necessary. The answer is on the List, where the query should have been.
