John it was loacated in a town called OldSherwood/Rural/Sherwood.This was
Section18/township28n/range 33w.This is in "History of Jasper County Vol 1
pp.39,40,59.On a web site A Directory of Towns,Villages and Hamlets of
Missouri under the name Old Sherwood it explains what you ask about the
burning of the people in the farm house.Hope this helps you.
