Carter Laxton cemetery is now known as Carter Memorial Cemetery according to a sign that is there. This cemetery has been cleaned up in the last few years and is now surrounded by several new houses. To see a map for directions go to Findagrave.com and search for Carter Memorial Cemetery and you will see a mapquest map giving directions. One way to get there is to take Highway D north out of Webb City and when you reach a 90 degree right turn in the road proceed east and when the road turns back north, keep going east on the branch off road and gp about 1/3 mile. Cemetery on north side and back up a lane. Not visible from road.
