Services for Ernest Ogle, 64, Route 2, Festus, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Fink Funeral Home in Festus. Burial was in Gamel Cemetery. Mr. Ogle
died Friday morning at his home. He had been ill several months. Survivors
include his wife, the former Emma Copeland; a stepson, Clarence Cook, St.
Louis; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Cage, Festus; a brother, Oscar Woodland, Wyo.;
and a stepgrandson and step-granddaughter. He was born in Jefferson County
July 1, 1893 and had lived here all his life. He was a son of the late
James and Mary Ogle. Mr. Ogle was employed at the Pittsburg Plate Glass
Co. and was a member of the Jefferson County Boat Club.
