Searching for information on Joseph. He would be a brother to my g-g-grandfather Edwin Ryland Barnett. The Ryland's and Barnett's were closely tied for many years.

On page 442, of the History of Lafayette Co. There is information on him. I don't have the book and would someone who might have it check and see what is listed about him?

I have been also trying to find any information on my Edwin. I had a clue in some online CW records that there was a Edward R. Barnette who was a CSA soldier in Lafayette Co. MO. I check the census records for that time frame and there was no Edward R. Barnette, but Edwin R. Barnett. I am guessing it is the same guy.
