Valentina; I am thrilled to receive your e-mail. I was so afraid . Yes, I
now know exactly were Antonio is. And my son who has a interment service in
a different area says it should not be horridly expense to take him Home to
Italy. The cost is about $600 to disinter about same for a child size casket
and airline shipping.

Antonio is about 9 foot north of the old pine tree on the far West side of
the cemetery, beautiful view in winter, over a valley with a few homes.
There is a small marker ,from Gibson Rice Funeral Home that has the death
date(all they knew at the time) and an M and very faint.other letters faded
into metal of marker. The cemetery is will kept.

My thoughts about his death. It was a Coal mine accident, the ceiling fell
,a common thing in those days, Railroad who own mine may have had him buried
or the city of Waverly. Clue ; Dr. is not local. He files an incomplete
death record. Immigrant MINGO has no local family. I am wondering, What
did they do with the salary earned to time of death? Fannie the city clerk
said "He isn't listed" Then I find out there is two cemetery books. He is
listed Now I will take flowers this Easter Weekend and again for Memorial
day at the end of May[Americans commemorate their dead especially soldiers]

Since I am an unpaid historian of county, I would appreciate , putting his
story into my records with your permission, plus anything you choose to
include. Bud.
PS husband just came in . He says he sent photo of the grave He took back in
January when the snow and ice had melted some. B..
