I have in hand A page from Thirty-second Annual Report mines, mining and mine inspections1918, pages 80, 81 and a piece of p. 82. 82 is non fatal Harry Limburg, motor runner age 25 single Lanning -Harris Lafayette leg and ankle bruised by car. 1918 Fatal McGrew had two killed same day sept 21 1918 , John and Wm THIRKLES, JOHN WIDOWER AGE52 two ORPHANS COAL LOADER, Wm., AGE 28 MARRIED I ORPHAN , both were struck by rock ,no inquest. ...E. B. Plague may 10 age 41 single Waverly Coal Co. struck by door coroner said accidental explosion ditto may 10 same mine age 38 married 2 orphans burned to death coroner said accident explosion of gas. May 6 Leyman HAYWOOD, machine helper age27 married no orphans McGrew Struck by boulder. Feb 9 James RAYAN Sr. coal miner 69 widower 6 orphans Waverly Coal Co. Struck by loaded car coroner Accidental death page 80 repeats these items in narrative form. For others; 28 August 1918 Joe W. CORDER WAS KILLED ,RAY co. coal co. A MACHINE RUNNER AGE 38 found dead at foot of transformer coroner said electrocuted. Bud.
