Subject: [MOLAFAYE] Obituary Lookup for John M. Campbell, died 17 Sep 1883

I am helping my adopted daughter research her birth family. She is
descended from John M. Campbell and Melvina Granger Campbell of Lexington,
Lafayette Co, MO, via their son Thomas W. Campbell who settled in Humboldt
Co, NV.

John was born 2 Jan 1800 in North Carolina and died 17 Sep 1883 in
Lexington, Lafayette Co, MO. Melvina (Melviny, Vina) was born 11 Aug 1816
in Sumner Co, TN, and died 2 Nov 1893. They are both buried in Stapp
Cemetery, Lafayette Co, MO.

I have just learned that there was a newspaper, "The Lexington News," that
was being published around the time of their deaths. If anyone is
available, I would like a copy of their obituaries. Thank you in advance
for any help you can give us.

Betty (aka Kelly's Mom)
Williamsburg, VA
