Hello,
I am new to this board and new to Lewis County family history. I just found
out last month that my Great Great Grandparents were from Lewis County,
MO and with that information I jumped a BIG brick wall. If any one can
help me with information about this family PLEASE email me. I can help
you with descendant information. Thanks.

Joseph COTTRELL aged 39 in the 1880 census and living in Union (township?).
Wife Mary COTTRELL born in KY aged 35.
Children:
Edward L. COTTRELL aged 13
Zerilda COTTRELL aged 10
William COTTRELL aged 8
Myrtle F. COTTRELL aged 5
Jo (daughter) COTTRELL aged 3

All this info. comes from the 1880 soundex record.

>From the 1910 Soundex record.....

Joseph COTTRELL aged 69 living in LaGrange.
Mary COTTRELL aged 66
Children.....
Son Russell COTTRELL aged 19
Ella LEMON was also listed as living with them in 1910 as Joseph's sister-in-law.
This might mean that Mary's maiden name was LEMON????
