Hi John,
Nancy Letitia Van Meter (b. 1796, d. 1873) is the daughter of Jacob (Miller
Jake) Van Metre, nephew of Jacob Van Meter, Sr. and (2) Rebecca Rawlings.
Jacob, "Miller Jake", is the son of Henry Van Metre, b. 1717 and his second
wife, Eve Pyle. Rebecca Rawlings is the daughter of Edward Rawlings (b.
1745) and Rebecca Van Meter (b. 1746). Rebecca Van Meter is the daughter of
Jacob Van Meter, Sr. and Letitia Stroud (or Strode).
Nancy and Joseph Van Metre are buried at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery in
Glendale, Hardin Co., Ky., which is a lovely, well kept cemetery. Their son
Nathan is buried at Gilead also.

That's what I had for Mahala. Thanks.
Now who were the parents of Nancy Letitia?

John Bland VanMeter & wife Mary Elizabet Schofield are buried in the
Durham Cem.

This agrees with what I have.

Yes, it is about 1 mi E of Ewing. A Briscoe descendant, Wayne Killebrew,
took me there about 15 years ago. I believe it was in a field. It is
kinda hazy
in my mind. It was not well kept then but it is very old too.
Wayne is alive but memory is gone.
