In a somewhat related topic, is there anyone versed in Lewis Co probate records? My gr.grandfather, James Newton Green,was the youngest of 4 or 5 children of a Wm. Felix & Mary Gearhart Lackland Green. I believe she died ca 1866 with him being awarded the children, my gr.grandfather being very young, and Felix himself died not long afterwards. Some of the children I think wound up in Kansas with relatives. Any help would be appreciated. I've never been able to locate exact death or burial info on Felix or Mary, though I think they were in the LaGrange area.
