I grew up in Dry Creek Township and still own the farms there. My good friend
Quentin Davis, who also grew up there looks after the place for me. He is
very much in tune with history of the area and is related to both the Bell
and Prewitt families who were listed on census records someone posted as
living on either side of your ancestors.

He now lives in Dixon, Pulalski County, Mo. and runs a towing service, among
other things and may be one of your best sources for information as to where

I currently live in Minnesota so can't provide anymore help from here and
don't know where the "old home places" of Dry Creen were located as well as
Quentin does.
