Gaylord just turned 87 years old on Friday. He is an amazing person, he
knows Miller County, the people, who they are related to - he really knows it
all! He's a very lonely man, he doesn't drive any more and therefore is
unable to pursue his hobby except on a limited basis. He would love to hear
from anybody interested in genealogy. He loves visitors - we spent 2 days
with him and we all had a great time. Others have said he's a little hard of
hearing, I didn't notice that. I sometimes have trouble understanding him
because he talks fast.

All I can say is if you're interested in anybody who lived in Miller County,
Gaylord is an expert and he's more than willing to share. If you write to
him, I guarantee you he'll answer by return mail. I've purchased most of his
books and they're a necessity for me, I live in New Mexico and don't often
get a chance to visit Miller County to do research. He has many books he's
put together, if you write or call him, he'll be very happy to mail you a
price list and will probably also send you one from Mr. Barnhouse. They are
two very nice gentlemen. Mr. Barnhouse has an email address if anybody wants
it, I haven't yet convinced Gaylord on the absolute need for a computer!
