The obit is copied from eldonAdvertiser Files by Gaylord Strange's book.

IRA MELVIN VERNON WAS BORN APRIL 11, 1897 AND DIED MAY 9, 1933, SON OF
GEORGE W. VERNON. HE MARRIED EDITH HUNTER ON DEC. 3, 1925. BURIED IN CROWN
CEMETERY.
