Don't every one pounce and trounce me but I am wondering if Paralee
MARTIN might have been the last child of Melinda/Malinda S. (Lawson)
MARTIN and Charles D. MARTIN. Paralee was born in 1866 so
Melinda/Malinda would have been 48 years old and if she died in
childbirth with this child, it would account for her absence from the
home in the 1870 census. Any ideas? Shirley
