Glennis Chloe Phillips, 83, Brumley, died Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Lake Regional Hospital.

She was born July 2, 1922, a daughter of Willard Alonzo and Verdie Polly (Witt) Shelton, who preceded her in death. On August 23, 1945, she was married to Jessie Elishia Phillips, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: five sons, Kenneth Dale Phillips, Jesse W. Phillips, Louie Paul Phillips, Lonnie Earl Phillips, and Lowell Mark Phillips; one daughter, Glenda Shackelford; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
