Obituary: The Eldon Advertiser, Thursday, May 27, 1999

Jimmie H. Schulte, 68, of St. Anthony, died Monday, May 24, 1999
at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia as the result of
injuries suffered in a fall at his home. Mr. Schulte was born in St.
Anthony on March 11, 1931, a son of George and Regina (Bax) Schulte. On
April 24, 1954, in St. Anthony, he was married to Angela Ewers. She
survives at the home.

Mr. Schulte was a Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict serving
as a communications officer and sang in a choral group with the Marine Corps
Variety Show. He was a self-employed farmer and carpenter, and also was
employed with Schulte Construction.

He was a delegate of MFA Oil in Crocker and past president and
treasurer of Miller County NFO. He served on the board of MFA Co-op in St.
Elizabeth. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St.
Anthony.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Schulte. In
addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, Frank Schulte of St.
Anthony; three daughters, Delphine "Del" Kliethermes, of St. Anthony, Lisa
Herx, of St. Anthony and Lois Wankum, of Meta; two brothers, Larry Schulte,
of St. Anthony and Daniel "Danny" Schulte of Eldon and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 27 at 11 a.m. at St.
Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony. The Rev. Clarence Wiederholt will
officiate. Interment, with military honors under the direction of the
Miller County V.F.W. Post 2442, will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation
will be from 4-8 p.m. at the St. Anthony Parish Hall with a Rosary at 7:30
p.m.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Sister Vicki with the Brazilian
Missions or the Missouri Crippled Children's Association. Arrangements are
under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
