Obituary: Unknown Publication, May 1977

Mrs.Mary Ina Kallenbach, 78, Tuscumbia, a lifetime resident of
Miller County, died Friday, May 27, 1977, at Charles E. Still Hospital in
Jefferson City. She was born April 26, 1899, at Brumley to John L. and
Margaret Emily (Graham) McCommons. June 5, 1918, she was married at Ulman
to Dewey E. Kallenbach, who survives.

Mrs. Kallenbach was a member of the Tuscumbia Presbyterian
Church and the Mid Missouri China Painters.

In addition to her husband she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Sadie
Clark, Tuscumbia, and Mrs. Helen Cantwell, Eldon, and a brother, John Glenn
McCommons, Salinas, Calif.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral
Home in Eldon. The Rev. Charles T. guest officiated. Burial was in the
Tuscumbia Cemetery.

Dewey Edward Kallenbach, 82, Tuscumbia, died Saturday, Jan. 3,
1981, at his home. Mr. Kallenbach was a lifelong resident of the Tuscumbia
community. He was born April 4, 1898, at Tuscumbia to J.E. and Hattie
Maylee Kallenbach. On June 5, 1918, he was married at Ulman to Ina
McCommons, who died May 27, 1977.

Mr. Kallenbach attended Tuscumbia High School. For a number of
years he operated an appliance business in Tuscumbia. He was a member of
the board of directors of the Bank of Tuscumbia and was a charter member of
the Tuscumbia Lions Club. He was a member of the Tuscumbia Presbyterian
Church, Masons, Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C.E. Fendorf, Jefferson City and
Mrs. Asa Mayfield, Eldon; a brother Dr. Joseph Kallenbach, Ann Arbor, Mich.;
and 20 nieces and nephews. A son died in infancy.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral
Home with the Rev. Wayne Cole officiating. Burial was in the Tuscumbia
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Abbett, Marshall Humphreys, Carl Kemna,
Frank Martin, Max Pryor and Ralph Riemensnider.
