Subject: [MOMISSIS] Pryor Thurman

My name is Katherine R. (Thurman) Stormo and I am a direct decendant of
Pryor Thurman. I was given your e-mail address by Betty Darnell and told
that you may have some information regarding Pryor Thurman.

My father, Charles E. Thurman, Jr. (1925-1990) was born in Pacific, Missouri
but after a stay with the Navy, he met and married my mother in Washington
State. His father, Charles E. Thurman, Sr. and his mother, Edna L. (Dalton)
Thurman lived in the S.E. Missouri area in and near Anniston, Missoui.
During part of his life, my grandfather had a traveling circus throughout
some of the southern states. Together they raised seven children, only one
of which is currently alive today.

My brother, Ed has done a great deal of research on the Thurman Family and
has traced our heritage back to Philip and Nancy Thurman, Pryor Thurman's
parents. My husband and I are leaving next month for Louisville, Kentucky
and would like to go down to Bullitt County, Ky to do more research on our
family. Betty Darnell wrote in her note that she thought that Pryor may have
lived in the Pitts Point area, somewhere near Fort Knox. Do you have any
other information regarding our ancestors that you could share or know where
there may be more information available such as museums, courthouses, etc?
Any help in this are would be extremely appreciated as we have a limited
time in Louisville and would love to make the most of our trip. Thank you.

Take Care!

Kathy (Thurman) Stormo
