Subject: [MOMONROE] LEGRAND/TURPIN obit from 1948
Date: Fri, 18 Aug 2000 11:13:59 +0000
Below is an obit for a Mrs. Ralph (LEGRAND) TURPIN that I was given in
with some of my Grandmother's and step-Grandfather's things [Cora Belle
(ALLISON/ARDREY/COURTNEY/SMITH) and Robert Clark SMITH]. They were
married in Randolph Co., in 1940, but Robert was born in Holiday and his
first wife was Mary E. YOHE. He was also a coal miner and worked for N.
L. Brownfield in 1938. Not sure how they were related to this person,
but want to share this info in hopes it helps someone and might find some
ties, that I didn't know existed.
Thanks!
