Resolutions of Respect.
To the officers and members of America Lodge, No. 195, I.O.O.F. We
your committee on resolutions beg leave to submit the following:
Whereas, it has pleased the Almighty God in his divine wisdom to remove
from our midst our dearly beloved brother, Dan J. Cunningham. In view
of this untimely occurrence we are called upon to pay tribute to his
life and memory, therefore be it,
Resolved, that in his death America Lodge, No. 195 I.O.O.F. has lost a
worthy and honored member and one whose devotion to t the principles of
our order was ardent and pure, and the county a loyal and honorable
citizen, endowed with such noble traits of character and manly virtues
as to command the sincere admiration and esteem of all who knew him.
We could not be unmindful of his loving wife and children to whom he
gave a life of devotion as pure as it was beautiful.
We extend to them our deepest heart felt sympathy.
Resolved that the Noble (Grand) shall cause a copy of these resolutions
to be spread upon the minutes of our Lodge a copy sent to the Triple
Link for publication and a copy sent to the family of the deceased.

Resolutions of Respect.
Whereas, God in his all wise providence has removed from our midst our
beloved friend and brother, D. J. Cunningham, who died at his home in
Madison March 16th, 1902, surrounded by his family and friends.
Resolved, That in the death of this good man and brother, Madison Lodge
No. 91 A. F. and A. M. has lost one of its most faithful and devoted
members and the town of Madison and the community one of its best and
most honored citizens, one who exemplified in all the walks of life that
nobility of character which makes the true man.
Resolved, That we hereby tender his bereaved family our deepest
sympathies together with the assurance that in their sorrow which death
has brought to the household of our brother and friend, we and each of
us share a common grief akin to that only of those who were nearest and
dearest to him in life.
Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the records of
the Lodge and a copy be presented to the family of one deceased brother
and a copy furnished to The Madison Times for publication.
